Here's little video from my new years celebration. Special thanks to my little sister, Henny, for filming a little (the
frames I appear in), to my family and neighbors for popping up unexpectedly in random frames. Also thanks to
my boyfriend who hates being filmed and who probably will hate being on my blog even more.

And last, but not least a HUGE thanks to Katinka for her crazy dancing and her most amazing mojitos (what obviously
made her dance in front of my camera). I had a blast! Hope you have enjoyed my little new year video.

(BTW, I recommend watching the video in 720p, you would not miss the opportunity to watch

Well, where to start? Firstly; I'm begging for forgiveness for my absence the past weeks. I recently finished all

my exams and all the spare time I've had since that, has been spent moving into my own apartment. I am so exited

about moving and my apartment is great! I absolutely love it. Besides moving, I've been working and been sick.

Of course I manage to get the flu, the second I have my christmas holiday. Anyways, I've had the pleasure of making

the apartment my home, I've had so much time to make tons of christmas cards and I've been reading a lot. In other

words; I've been having a great time. Tomorrow I'm going back to work, which I'm excited about and tomorrow evening,

I'm catching up with my lovely friends who is returning to Norway for christmas. Finally!

Here are some random selected photos from this summer, from the Mela Festival in Oslo in July. Artists who performed
were among others, Ky-Mani Marley and Karpe Diem. Samsaya performed a song with Karpe, and the mood was
impeccable. Such a great summer evening.. I already miss the late summer evenings, having a glass of wine with the
girls in the evening sun, relaxing in parks, barbequing with friends and tanning at the beach. Ah. Summer. Well, not the winter
is soon approaching. Winter is good as well. Don't get me wrong, but there is just something with summer. Summer is.. perfect.

my way home. I love taking my camera along everywhere I go. Especially on sunny days. I absolutely love Oslo

on sunny days. As a matter of fact I love Oslo anyway, but when the sun is shining and I walk up Karl Johan in the

morning before it's crowded. You really get to see how amazingly beautiful Oslo is. I hope you enjoy the photos as much

as I do. They give me so much inspiration. I hope they will inspire you as well - at least a little.

These pictures are taken just a couple of days after 22nd of July. Oslo was filled with roses, tears and so much love.

I hope you enjoy the pictures, as they mean tremendously much to me. It was great therapy walking the streets of Oslo

with my camera; thinking, crying and experiencing all the love Oslo was filled with after the tragedy. I am so proud to be

Norwegian when thinking back at how amazingly well we took care of each other in such a difficult time. I met so many

people who took the time to tell me their story, gave me hugs and a shoulder to cry on - and I didn't even know them.

Saturday, September 17th I went to the "Idéfestival" (Idea Festival) at the University of Oslo. I was super excited and

had so much to see. All the amazing technology to play with. As a self declared nerd and as an informatics student

I was at the right place! I brought my little sister and we met up with my help mate, Daniel and another friend, Safa.

We had a lot of fun playing around, but what fascinated me the most was the visit from the geminoid, "Henrik".

A geminoid is a robot with a human appearance. There are three geminoids in the world today, and "Henrik" is

the only one outside of Japan, he is also the only one with caucasian face. I was super fascinated and I was so lucky

I got to know the geminoid's model and "master", Asc. professor Henrik Scharfe and a student from the University of

Aalborg in Denmark, Jens. They were both amazingly kind and very patient teaching me how the geminoid works.

I asked all kinds of questions and they kindly answered me and showed me all kinds of things "Henrik" could do.

I am beyond fascinated and I am still excited from this amazing experience. I am so happy for studying informatics and

I now know for sure, this is what I want to do. Meeting the geminoid "Henrik", professor Henrik Scharfe and Jens

really inspired me and I would like to thank them both for first of all taking the trip to the University of Oslo, and

for taking the time and being so kind, teaching me so much. Thank you!

Isn't this simply the most amazing thing you've ever seen? Henrik Scharfe and the geminoid "Henrik".

Me and my new best friend. I really waved good bye to him when we left. He is that human.

Jens asked me at one point if I would slap him if I was allowed. And after thinking about for a second,

of course I wouldn't. Maybe it only says something about my respect for technology, but I really believe

most people wouldn't. He looks human, he acts like a human and I would not manage to slap him. He is

even a "he" to me. Not "it". This is such an interesting topic. I am going to read more about the technology

behind it, and keep being fascinated.

Photos taken at Lillehammer a year ago. What a lovely fall we had last year, the sun shined and the weather was

warm even in the middle of October. Even though I miss these days in September a year ago; living by myself,

being independent in a whole new way, I am really happy about my present situation. I love studying, and I enjoy

spending time with so many new, great people, despite me longing for my best friends who is now spread around the world.

I am feeling so lucky getting to know so many lovely, talented people. We are already getting very well along, which

I'm very happy about. Now I have to go to bed, I'll probably dream about Java, which is my new best friend these days.

what the world lost 8 years ago.

The Wanderer - Johnny Cash.

My greatest hero, Johnny Cash died exactly 8 years ago today. He died 71 years old at this exact day in 2003.

Johnny Cash' music has played a great role in my life, I grew up with his music, and he is mainly the reason I

got a black acoustic guitar for christmas some years ago from my parents, and learned to play it. Johnny has inspired

me in so many way and words cannot describe my love for his music. I remember the day my dad told me he died.

I was 12, but he will continue to live through his music, his amazing, deep voice and his lovely guitar play.

I will spend this rainy evening inside with my little brother and sister listening to Cash, eating pizza and ice cream,

while excitingly watching the election broadcast on TV. We will be crossing our fingers here at home!

To all norwegians: if you haven't voted yet, the polling place are still open. Happy voting!

I can't believe 10 years has passed. It is today, ten years since the tragic attack on World Trade Center and Pentagon.

Four highjacked planes, two falling towers, the headquarter of the United Stated Department of defense was struck, 2983 dead.

I remember September 11 2001. I was ten years old and I headed out to a friend of mine to ask if he would like

to come outside and hang out. I remember him looking at me asking why I wasn't at home watching the news.

"Why should I?" I asked. "The World Trade Center is hit by planes and stuff!" he replied and he went back in.

I didn't know what the World Trade Center was, but I realized this was serious and I ran back home as fast as I could.

I remember turning on the TV in my room watching the news. I was shocked. This wasn't an action movie.

This was real.

From my room next to the entrance I could see mom dressing up. She was heading out for a meeting and she peeked

in to say bye before she was about leave. "Mom, World Trade Center is falling down. There has been planes hitting them."

I remember mom came into my room. She took off her coat and shoes and together we sat on my bedroom floor,

watching the news together. Even though I thought it was extremely frightening 10 years ago, I think it is even worse

now. I was probably too young to understand and see the big picture. This day changed the world forever.

Today my thoughts goes to the family and friends who lost their loved ones in this tragic attack. And to all the brave
men and woman who sacrificed their lives to help. The firefighters, the police, the ambulance and medical staff, the
men and woman in the air force and all the others who did a invaluable contribution to help the injured.

Windy day. Clearly the fall is knocking on our doors. What do you do when the nights are getting darker?

I love my new leather pants. And knitted sweaters of course. Even though I love summer, there is something about
the feeling of seeing the stores fill up with clothes for the fall season. I LOVE fall collections. The earth toned colors,
huge scarfs, leather jackets and pants, knitted garments and wedges always work out in the fall season. Still, there are
some days left of summer - let's just enjoy those warm, suunny days first. Nighty night.

When I went out jogging this morning, the morning fog were still laying heavily, and even though there was no

sign of the sun, it wasn't cold outside. After jogging a little while into the forrest I looked out over the fields, and

the mist was clearing and the sun started to peep through. It was amazingly beautiful, jogging along the fields with

my iPhone supplying me randomly selected music by The Killers. When I came home I made breakfast and had

myself a huge cup of tea and enjoyed it in the sofa corner with a good book and Paisley on my lap. Perfect.

And just like that I went from being store manager to become a student. At first I thought I would hate it, I've never

been one of those dreaming of studying. I've always loved working - and I love my job, so I wasn't that excited.

Monday August 15th, I started at the University of Oslo. I'm studying informatics and so far I'm loving it. I have a great

class, a lot of interesting and competent students. My helpmates, most known as faddere in norwegian, are very helpful,

they are very excited and I'm so grateful for their patients! When it comes to the University, I love it, the school is

HUGE, and it's such a lovely place to be. As for know I have a really good feeling about this, but if I know myself,

I will have days where I question myself what the hell I was thinking, choosing informatics. Programming is hard,

and I will have to glue my Macbooks to my desk, so I won't fall for the tempting of throwing them out of the window.

(Actually that won't be a problem. It's Apple products. I would NEVER EVER throw an Apple product out of the window.
It's actually more likely I will jump out the window myself, so I'm not too worried. Yet, that is.)

Anyways. It's friday - and like Rebecca Black, I'm gonna have a ball today.

Wow. So much has been happening in my life lately. Haven't really felt like blogging. I've felt like being

with my loved ones, hanging out in Oslo, walking around, photographing and singing. Singing a lot. Great

therapy. 22nd of July marked me and left me with so much feelings and thoughts and I've really needed time

for myself. And with my friends of course. Oslo is changed. The people have changed. There is a love in Oslo

I struggle to explain. You need to feel and experience it for yourself.

I've had my last day as store manager today, and it feels a bit sad because with time I really learned to love it.

There is such an amazing feeling to feel like you master something. To know you are really good at something.

At the same time it feels good to know I'm closing one chapter of my life to start a new one. An unwritten one.

Tomorrow I'm starting to study at the University of Oslo and I'm both nervous and excited at the same time.

Anyways. We've had some lovely summer evenings in July and August - and most of them has been spent out

with the girls, and we've had such a great time.

I am shocked, sad, provoked, frustrated and angry. First a bomb exploded in Oslo and struck our government

buildings and windows all through the center of Oslo was blown out and 7 people are confirmed dead from the

blast. While we are in shock, shortly after the blast, another terrible incident is taking place at the long-established and

yearly political youth camp at Utøya - an island about an hour outside Oslo. Well over 600 great, healthy and committed

youth were gathered to have fun, discuss politics and have the time of their lives. Unfortunately many lost their life.

A norwegian 32 year old man, dressed like a police officer started shooting and we know that at least 85 youth is

confirmed dead. It's hard to understand this really happened. When I woke up this morning it was like it was all a

terrible nightmare, but my iPhone informed me with a push notification that at least 84 was confirmed dead at Utøya.

My thoughts, my love and my condolences goes to all the victims and their families, friends and beloved ones.

As Jens Stoltenberg (Prime minister of Norway) said yesterday;

"We will retaliate with more democracy".

I am proud to be norwegian when I see how much love and support it is among us. We have to stay

strong and be here for each other. Thanks for all of your concern and support in this difficult time.

If anyone need a friend, a good listener, a place to be or a shoulder to cry on - our house is open for anyone who needs it.

We have to stay strong, take care of our friends and family and send all the love and thoughts to the victims and their friends and family. I am proud to be norwegian, especially when I see all the love being shared around in Norway now. I am happy to see how much people care and how many who wants to help. Our prime minister, the king and queen, other ministers and the leader of AUF; Eskil Pedersen, handles the situation better than anyone could have expected. They are strong, calm and of course very moved - but they prove to the rest of the world that they are the right people to govern this country by handling this difficult and terribly sad situation astonishingly great.

They can't bomb us to silence. We will keep fighting and believing in what we stand for. You can't break this great, committed and loving nation.

huge explosion in oslo.

I'm in shock. Oslo looks like a battlefield. For those of you who haven't heard yet, a bomb exploded in Oslo centrum.

The situation is chaotic and people are hurt and at the moment two people is confirmed dead. Windows in buildings around

Oslo centrum has been blown out and people are bleeding in the streets from it. It is being speculated whether a

second explosion followed the first, but we know for a fact that the explosion hit the government buildings in the center of Oslo.

Latest news states that three persons are taken into custody at OLS, Gardermoen Airport.

One of the highlights of the festival was the Kaizers Orchestra concert. I photographed with the press

photographers and it was such an amazing experience! I'm not very experienced when it comes to concert photo,

I miss the festival life so much. I came home from Hove with a full memory card, without my voice and

with my heart full of great memories. I'm having a hard time understanding all of this actually happened.

I've seen so many amazing artists perform and sang along with many of my favorite bands. I worked for

NRK P3, and my job was actually to make the campers happy. We had so much fun, and I was lucky enough

to take Katinka with me! She seemed to love it as well, and it was her first festival experience.

I stood all in front, in the middle at the Brandon Flowers concert - and he smiled to me (!),
Tinie Tempah blew me a kiss from stage, Robyn smiled for my picture and I met a whole
lot of great people! I've managed to pick about 60 photos out of 2000.

I wanted to take one of these back home with me.

Sorry I forgot to mention I would be gone for a whole week! I'm at a festival working for NRK P3.

I'm having the best time of my life - and not even the rain we've had the past couple of days bothers me.

Still, I had a couple of days to work on my tan line. I've met a bunch of amazing people, shot some great pictures,

and seen some AMAZING concerts! 30 Seconds to Mars was insane, Linkin Park was great, Tinie Tempah

blew me a kiss from the stage, and Brandon Flowers smiled at me as I cried and sang my heart out throughout

his amazing concert. I managed to get all in front and in the middle at the Brandon Flowers concert, and

there are not enough words in the world to describe what I'm feeling now. Katinka, who came with me to Hove,

is the best. We are having a great time, enjoying the festival life, making the campers happy and playing around!

Tonight we are excited to see Robyn on stage! I'll be back with more pictures and updates on saturday.

A day in Oslo with the girls - a day well spent. Had so much fun with these two fabulous looking girls.

Friday I was planning to celebrate my birthday, but the girls were all busy so I was going to spend the evening at home. Until I got kidnapped that is.

My mom blindfolded me, telling me my little sister had a surprise for me in the front yard. Suddenly I

was left to myself, no one responded and someone led me through the yard and put me in a car.

The girls were obviously busy kidnapping me and I had no idea about what was going on.

Mom, my brother and sister was involved and the girls had really planned this!

I was didn't know wether I was going to laugh or cry. It was a bit scary and we drove around for an hour

(they got a bit lost on the way) and I had no idea who was in the car, 'cause no one was talking. But they

were playing loud music; my all time favorite songs. I can't believe how they've

picked up on all of the songs - I bet Katinka should have the credit for this. I have so many great memories to each song they played.

After an hour of driving I was led up some stairs, taken inside and put in a chair. I got a glass in my hand

and suddenly I heard the girls singing the birthday song. I took the blindfold of and I couldn't help but cry

a little as I saw Synnøve, Katinka, Katharina and Marit singing to me and I realized I am the luckiest girl

to have the most amazing friends.

Marit and Katharina had made a lovely dinner, Katinka had baked the best carrot cake,
while Synnøve had made the sweetest muffins with dark and white chocolate and loads of frosting.
We had such a great evening; eating, talking and laughing. I also got the nicest gift!
Thank you girls, thank you for making this the best birthday surprise ever - you are the best!

The following day, saturday, I met up with Synnøve and Katinka.

We went shopping and had such a fun day. (More pictures to come).

my last hour as a teenager.

I can't believe I turn 20 tomorrow. The past year flew by, and I can't really understand where the time went.

I've had an amazing year. I've experienced incredibly much, met amazing new people, worked hard, as well as having loads of fun.

It's weird how I'm not going to be a teenager anymore. Not that I've ever felt much about the fact that I have been one.

It's just that, when I think about it, it is the start of a whole new era in my life. People will see me different, treat me different - but will I feel any different?

Changes comes with time. When people ask me; "So! How does it feel? How do you feel about turning X?" I always answer; "I feel a day older than yesterday."

With time I will feel different, of course I will. But I'm curious to see how it will affect me. My behaviour,

my thoughts and my choices. I'm excited to see where this year will take me. Thinking back, the past year

has probably been my best year ever. I'm so grateful for everything I got to experience - and I'm so grateful

for all the people who made it the best year in my life (so far) - you know who you are.

Yesterday I went out with the girls. We had some white wine at a restaurant, before we went out.

I love my new scarf. This is outfit is from earlier this week.
I'm having a lovely, quiet weekend. The concert with Karpe Diem was AMAZING.
Synnøve and I had the time of our lives and we were so hyped up after the concert we had to sit down to talk about it.
We sat outside for at least half an hour talking and it was such a nice evening.
I've missed having Synnøve around like this - and she is the only one who share the same passion for Karpe as I do.

It's summer in Oslo already. I've been wearing shorts all day and it's not even May.

It's easter and I can't remember it being this warm in April, ever. Today it was at least 22 degrees

- and I've spent my entire day in the sun. Reading, tanning while playing loud music on the front

porch with my little sister. I actually got a bit of a tan line today, and since the weather forecast

for the rest of the easter vacation is sunny and warm, I'm planning to keep working on my tan line.

I filmed my little sister outside in the amazing easter weather today. We had such a great time.

I love making little movies like these. I'm not very good at it - yet, but I intend to become better.

I struggle to describe how happy I am now-a-days. Life is smiling at me, the sun is shining and very soon the

most amazing girls I know will be back in Oslo again. I miss them all so much. It was wonderful to see Ingra and Linni,

who came home last week, even though it was just for a short while. Ingra has left for Milano already and Linni is

leaving for Singapore tomorrow. Anyways. We'll be gathered soon. It's weird when your best friends is spread all

over the world. Do you have any friends you miss? How do we deal with the fact that the people we cherish

the most is not here to see every day?

I'm very happy for my friends, I think they're all extremely happy with the choices they've made. But it is weird
hearing they all have a new life, met new friends and have a new "home". I caught myself thinking of my life

being exactly the same - but I was wrong. As they left, my life changed as well.I met a whole lot of new people and
I am a totally different me. I was thrilled to listen to everything my friends, who returned from England, had to
tell me over dinner last week. Not only did they have a lot to talk about - I did as well.

I've experienced and grown so much this last year. They have too. My biggest fear was that everyone would return

as a totally different person. But when I think about it - we are all the same persons as when we split.

We're just a new and richer version of our selves.

Well, Photobucket is up and running again, and so is my blog. These are photos from monday. Monday was such a lovely, warm day.

It felt like summer. It was 18 degrees in Oslo - and people were wearing tees, shorts and dresses. Girls even skipped leggings this lovely monday.

I saw people sitting in the parks, some having the first outdoor-beers of the year and in my front yard the crocus has started to bloom.

I took Paisley on a long trip and he seemed very happy about the lovely weather as well.

Photos taken in Bergen in October. What a great trip. I borrowed moms lovely, green blouse. I love it!
I love my purse as well, it's from Asos - in case you were wondering. I get a lot of questions about my purse on the streets, actually :)

I'm a bit nostalgic these days. Looking at old photos. Photos from the last two years. Thinking about all
the fun I had at school. All the fun I had with my best friends who are now spread all over the world. I
don't see them, nor speak to them, every day anymore. I play music I used to play on the road trips with
the girls. Singing the songs I sang with Synnøve in the car at night, loud and without any inhibitions.
Perhaps it's because people are turning 20 around me, and in June it's my turn. It's hard to believe that I
will be turning 20. Fun and scary at once. Well, I'm looking forward to it.

My little sister who modeled for me, is not wearing any make up, she was actually going to bed when I quickly shot these pictures of her.
She is naturally photogenic and she looks absolutely stunning in these photographs. She looks like a cover girl.

I can't describe how much I'm looking forward to go to sleep. This day was both really good - and absolutely not.

About a month ago I blogged about me working with NRK - Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation.
Yesterday I sat down with my family and watched myself on Migrapolis - a well-known norwegian
TV-program. It was weird and fun at the same time.

I was contacted by one of Migrapolis' hosts and I was interviewed about my dream of working with music.
The theme of yesterdays program was how some does everything to get attention and to become a celebrity,
while others get unwanted attention. My story is my dream of doing what I love the most. I want to live out my dream; working with music.
To be able to work with music, you need to get attention. You need to be seen, and promote your music.
It is very important that people don't get this wrong - I don't want to become a celebrity, I want to be known from what I love.
I was interviewed and brought to different experts on different fields. I met a stylist/editor of a norwegian fashion magazine,
I met a psychologist and I met one of my idols - Asbjørn Slettemark - a norwegian music journalist. I've experienced incredibly much,
met the most amazing people and learned more than I could ever imagine - about myself as well. I'm so grateful for this,
and I would like to thank Edin, one of Migrapolis' hosts, for guiding me perfectly through the shootings.
