Some more of the photos I shot in Oslo the other day. Lovely weather today as well. Love it!
I'll be working today so I have to get going now. Have an amazing day, lovely readers.

What I wore yesterday while wandering around the streets of Oslo. Today seems to be just as lovely as yesterday. The sun shines, the colors are bright and very soon it will be me and my car on the road again. Can't wait.

when the light hits your eyes, it's telling me i'm right.

It's almost October, but today I almost questioned the season. It felt like summer again. What a perfect day. Spent this lovely day back in wonderful Oslo, enjoying my own company, the sun, the mood and my camera.

Started the day by cleaning up my room. Loud music flowing out of my speakers, iTunes randomly supplying me with great music. The sun shined through the windows and lit my room up - creating the most amazing mood. Before noon I surprised a friend by showing up at his work place before he started work. Later I had had coffee and a nice chat with my amazing boss and met some other friends. Spent some hours at home, tiding up around the house and had dinner with my family. Went out to meet the same friend I surprised this morning and we had a really great evening.

I haven't felt this
inspired in a long time.

Suddenly sunday is here again. The weekend flew by so quickly and I've enjoyed every minute of it.
I've spent the weekend with the people that means the most to me, and we've had so much fun. I think I'm ready for a new week. Yes, I am.

friday, i'm in love.

"I want a love like my bed. Someone to support me,
someone comfortable, someone who will listen to everything I say,
and will be there to catch all my tears. Essentially, a bed is the
greatest model of an idealistic love there is."

I stumbled over this lovely quote, and I suddenly realized how much I miss my bed at home.
I'm slowly getting better and I've spent the last days reading a lot, relaxing and getting the stress down to an okay level. I feel really good right now, and I can't wait to get home to my family, to my dog, to my BED and to see my girls. Katinka, my gorgeous friend who left for Virginia a while ago is having a great time, but I miss her so much. Soon I have to let go of two more of the girls. Both of them leaving for England and it's going to be so though to see them go. Anyways. It's friday - and I'm happy.

I don't care if Monday's blue
Tuesday's gray and Wednesday too
Thursday I don't care about you

It's Friday, I'm in love.

I miss summer. Right now the rain is pouring down and it's cold inside. I have some cozy plans for the evening. It involves music, candles and a good book. Mm.

sick and tired.

I have caught streptococcus and it's kind of bad timing. I have a lot of school, loads of plans this weekend and work.

Amazing weather today.

I've managed to become sick and I'm stuck in the sofa with juice and tea. Hopefully it's nothing serious and I'll be back up and going already tomorrow. I think I'll call it a night now, haven't been much sleep the last nights. But I don't mind ;).

Nighty night.

Just felt like dedicating a blog post to my little brother. I'm so proud of him. I love you, Wendell Gee.

Leaving for Lillehammer in a short while. What a great weekend.
Wish you an amazing day.

have yourself another dream.

Look back in silence, the cradle of your whole life.
There in the distance, loosing its greatest pride.
Nothing is easy, nothing is sacred. Why?
Where did the bow break?
It happened before your time.

There were people there, lovely as you've ever been.
Tonight. Baby, you can start again.
Laughing in the open air, have yourself another dream.
Tonight. Baby, we can start again.

Only the young can break away, break away.
Lost when the wind blow, on your own.

This morning.

"Autumn is a second spring where every leaf is a flower." - Albert Camus

I love the colors outside these days. I love the mood. I love the light. I love the cold air. I think I might love fall. At least when the sun is shining.

More photos from the woods yesterday, and like a friend of mine suggested - I look like a nymphomaniac, hehe. I came to think of "Huldra" from the norwegian folklore yesterday and I read some of the legends about her. I felt 5 years old again, and it felt really good. I remember I used to play with my friend and neighbor as young and her lovely mom read us stories about "Huldra", the seductive nymph with a hidden tail who lured men into the mountain.

"Read the folklore masters. Go to galleries. Walk in the woods. That's what you need to be an artist or storyteller." Terri Windling.

I'll be hitting the road at 4 p.m, driving home playing Flamingo, Brandon Flowers' new album all the way home. Oh, joy.

mischievous wood nymph.

..or hulder if you like. I remember I was read stories about the wicked, mischievous wood nymph, Huldra, when I was young. I came to think of her when I was walking through the lovely woods up here in Lillehammer today. It was great, the sun shining through the trees, walking around listening to the sounds.

Some play pretty good, some play so bad it hurts.
We pick up their golf balls that fly over the fence,
We shine 'em up a little bit and sell 'em back for fifty cents."
- Mary Gauthier.

No one describes America as real as Mary Gauthier does. Listening to her songs while looking at these pictures I shot in L.A, makes me realize how lucky I am. It makes me want to make a difference. Like Mary Gauthier, her music had affected me like no other and she's made me to face sides of America we tend to pretend not exist.

Back to school now - love!
