You cannot have have overlooked or not noticed that stripes is one of this summers greatest fashion trends.

Horizontal stripes is an important part of the maritime style, which is a forever classic. The classic colors are white in a combination with black, read or blue - and these colors applies this season too, even though you find more colored versions too.

No wonder the stripes is such a great hit, it's an easy pattern to combine, at the same time as it brightens up a neutral outfit.

Chanel had a striped top with a logo in their spring/summer collection and a lot of celebrities was seen with the very same top right away - for instance Claudia Shiffer, Sienna Miller and Mischa Barton, among others.

A top is the easiest item to buy if you would like to try out the striped trend. A striped jacket with wide stripes is a nice investment for the more daring ones. if you find stripes a bit too much, you can start out with wearing striped accessories, like a scarf.
