oslo fashion week.

It's been Oslo Fashion Week and I had so much fun following some of the viewings and photographing. I was connected to one of the OFW photographers trough many years via a friend of mine - and I was lucky enough to learn from him and assist him at some viewings.

Oslo Fashion Week always inspire me to turn my closet upside down and find items I haven't been wearing  in a long time. I was very happy to find a top I bought about 4 years ago - and that it still fits perfectly!

This has been a lovely sunday that I've spent drinking cocoa with cream for breakfast, reading the news paper, magazines and some film history for school over a cup of tea. It helped my aching head and cold feets this rainy sunday.

Right now I'm packing for school tomorrow. It's a two hours drive to school so I will be in desperate need of sleep and rest - especially since I start school at 10.

My absence is due to my studies, work and a whole lot of other things happening in my life right now.

I started studying at Lillehammer - since Gateway College can't say for sure that the students will be able to go to NY after all. Makes me frustrated because I've looked forward to it like nothing else. Anyways, I'm having a great time at Lillehammer studying film and television science.

I've been working a bit lately as well. Been working day time next to my studies for a little while and since I love my job, it hasn't been any problem.

Other fun stuff in my life: went to this great photo expedition with a colleague of mine, Christoffer. He also invited me to a "move out" party this friday which was also a lot of fun. Went to a lovely confirmation yesterday before I went to see one of my favorite bands play in Oslo. Despite the extremely rainy weather it was an amazing concert and the audience seemed to love it. Afterwards, I went out with my father, his friend and colleague and their apprentice. What a perfect and BUSY week.

I've nearly been home this week, and the next week doesn't look less busy, but I'll take some time off to blog. I promise.

Our beloved Katinka left for college in USA this morning. It's hard to let go of a friend you've seen more or less every single day for three years. Saying goodbye yesterday was so hard for all of us. I know for a fact she will visit us back home around christmas, still it feels terrible knowing I can't meet her for a coffee any day. She is such a tough, brave girl, leaving everything she loves behind for a new country. But I'm not sad. I'm happy for her. I know she will have a great time, I know she will experience a whole lot and still carry her friends in her heart. I miss you already, Katinka.

Monday, when these pictures were taken, was such a beautiful day, but the last couple of days has been gray, with unbearable amounts of rain.

I'm having the time of my life right now. Laying on the sofa, sipping on a smoothie, reading the newspapers while listening to my favorite music. Despite the cloudy weather I have a good feeling this day might get sunny. I'll keep you posted!

I'm at work, playing Ryan Adams loud! My voice is still not to be found, but I'm feeling slightly better. It's rain in the air today, and people seem to stay at home - or outside, because they're not at the mall, I can tell you.

After work I'm meeting up with my girls to go dine and catch a movie before we're having a slumber party at Katharina's house, where we have a date with our favorite guys Ben and Jerry!

I'm so happy nowadays. It's summer, I can finally see an end to my closet project, I have all the time in the world to do what I love the most - taking pictures, singing, having fun with friends and family, driving, reading with more. Life is GOOD.

It seems to be no end on my closet project. It's more a autumn project than a summer project actually. Badly timed. The sun keeps distracting me (I don't mind it), but I've spent more time jogging, walking my dog and reading the news paper on the porch, than fixing my closet. Hopefully I'll be done soon.

yesterday's photo shoot.

Yesterday I shot some great photos of Pernille. It was fun to photograph her, she is amazingly photogenic. I love the results, the setting and her relaxed attitude.

The last week was such a busy, but great week. Loads to do. My closet is being renewed, been working, celebrated my great colleague's birthday, late nights, early mornings photo shoot and dinner with the girls. Today it's sunny and it makes me happy.

rocking wellingtons.

Last year I bought my beloved Ilse Jacobsen wellingtons. But ever since my mom came home with the most amazing Hunter wellingtons from Sweden, I've been desperately seeking a new pair. My mom's Hunter are in black crocodile skin and I simply adore them. UNTIL I found the most amazing one's today! They're from Hunter as well, but a bit more rocked. I was thinking of different ways to wear them, and they look amazing no matter what you wear with them. I put together some outfits to see how much they actually look good with anything. I bet you could even rock them with a college sweater.

Here with a jacket from Stella McCartney, Burberry hand bag and with a bow (Blair Waldorf style) or a huge hat. Love it.


Secondly, they look really good with a more "classy" style. A long trench coat- a bit Chanel inspired - with a matching umbrella and the same Burberry hand bag.


They also look very good worn with a more classic outfit. With a lovely beige trench coat from Burberry, the Burberry hand bag, some gorgeous sunglasses and gloves from Asos.com.

I need these. When I'm bored at work the upcoming days - I'll be thinking about them.

Today is sunny. Sunny is good. Rest of this week is said to be rainy. Rainy means cleaning-out-my-closet-weather. Personally I'm more fond of being outside drinking-coffee-with-friends-and-staying-out-late-weather. But norwegian summer isn't like that.

Today i have work from 17. Tomorrow, friday and saturday I'll be working as well. A friend of mine turns 20 this saturday and I look forward to celebrate him.
